Event Products
Event Products describe items for an event that are paid for and sold. They are labeled like "Reception for Peter and Polly," "Cocktail Hour for Peter and Polly," "20 uplights for Peter and Polly." Each Event Product must have an associated Price in order for a customer to make a payment. The Price may be overwritten by a "negotiated price" in order to charge a discount or premium, yet a Price relation must exist even if there is a negotiated price.
Event Products may or may not have Ensemble relationships. If the Product related to an Event Product has the entertainment "category," then an Ensemble must be related in order for a customer to make a payment, though the Ensemble may be changed easily even after payment. If a Product associated with an Event Product is in a category other than entertainment, then an Ensemble is not required. See the Roles Guide for details about staffing Event Products and note that in the system Roles relate to Event Products, not Events directly.
